Wall thickness is controlled by heat shrink process. BPTM provides flashover protection up to 25kV, whilst the thicker walled BBIT will protect up to 36kV. High voltage tests on busbars insulated with BBIT/BPTM tubing demonstrate significant reduction in clearances over conventional air insulated systems. |
